Privacy notice
Last updated 6 November 2026
This notice explains how we handle personal data when you use this website or place an order, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any privacy question or request, email [support email to be confirmed].
What we collect
- Order data: name, email, phone number, delivery address, the products ordered and the order total.
- Payment data: handled by our card payment processor on its own secure page. We receive the payment result and a transaction reference, never your full card number or security code.
- Messages: what you send us, such as photos of a damaged parcel.
- Cart: your cart is stored in your own browser (local storage) and is not sent to us until you check out.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To take payment, dispatch and track your order, and handle damaged or wrong items: performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To keep accounting and tax records: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- To prevent fraud and enforce our research-use-only terms: our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising profiles.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers needed to run the shop: our card payment processor, the parcel carrier, our website host and our email provider. Each processes data only on our instructions or as an independent controller for its own legal duties. Where a provider is outside the European Economic Area, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, and then deleted. Support messages are kept for up to 12 months after the matter is closed.
Cookies
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Your cart uses your browser's local storage, which is strictly necessary for the cart to work.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Email [support email to be confirmed]; we answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your EU country.
Changes
We will post any change to this notice on this page with a new date.
